  • Can I build on a slope?
Yes you can our design team can help design a wall that incorporates different heights and depths.Few readers
  • How do WoodBlocX structures stay upright if they require no foundations?
Masonry walls need rigid foundations because they cannot withstand tension forces. Any ground movement results in cracking and eventual collapse unless the wall is supported on a concrete raft. WoodBlocX structures are joined with many dowels to create a rigid structure that can withstand tension forces (each dowel joint will withstand up to 0.9 tonnes of shear force in our tests). This means that minor ground movements will not affect the structure and massive rigid foundations are not requiredFew readers
  • Do I need to build my wall on a foundation?
No you do not have to build foundations , the key to building any WoodBlocX structure is for the ground to be level, you can use sharp sand or sub base to help level the area if required.Few readers
  • Why do your retaining walls only go up to 1.05m in height?
1.05m is the maximum height we recommend for a single retaining wall, if you wish to make your wall higher we recommend terracing the next layer so the earth retained is staggered.Few readers
