Articles on: WoodBlocX Structures

Why does my WoodBlocX structure not look like the pictures shown on the website?

Many of the photos shown across our website have been taken several months after building WoodBlocX - this is when our structures are looking their best and the greenish discoloration has faded to reveal the natural golden-pine colour.

Due to our wood treatment process, your WoodBlocX may arrive with a greenish discoloration - this is completely normal and will fade once the blocks are exposed to UV rays from sunlight.

Across our website we show a varied mix of real-life project pictures to AI-enhanced photography to support our marketing. As timber is a natural product, there’s always unique character and natural imperfections in the WoodBlocX manufacturing process.

The photos below show the process of building a WoodBlocX raised bed from start to photoshoot!

Building WoodBlocX

Installing layer by layer

Adding liner before covering the buttress supports
